Hello,

I am using The image gallery 1.9e and I hav a problem.

I have added lots of pictures on them.
Now I want to change the thumbnail size from 100px to 200px.

If I do that in the settings nothing happens.

Hello!

The problem is, that the gallery does only use the resizing function for new generated thumbnails. The already generated aren't touched. Suggestion (I know it's not that professional, but it works): Delete with the /media section of WB admin the .thumb (or similar) folder(s), then the thumbnails should be generated again with the changed size.

Regards Michael

This does not work.
The files are in /media/.gallery/ and if I delete thumb and main files it still will not regenerate the thumb or main pics as I hoped.

Hello!

If you delete the main picture and the thumb, of course nothing could be generated.  cool Somewhere the main picture has to be stored. Just delete the thumbs, it should work.

I don't think that you understand, the image gallery created 3 files file<number>.jpg , main<number>.jpg and thumb<number>.jpg.

But I have tryed all the combinations possible, and I am now started to read the php code and as far as I can see it only creates the files with first saving the record. after that there is no check anymore.

Oke looked at the code and found out that the thumbnail and main pics are creating during saving the record.
After that it will not resize the thumbnal and main pics anymore

So I realy needed this and hacked a extra option in the gallery.
And created version 1.9f

If you go to the admin->pages->gallery page, under the picures there is now a button called "Resize all images"

What it does is check the settings of this gallery and uses that to resize all the thumbs and main pics that belongs to this page

It does not look pretty because for some reason I have problems with the css styling but it works.

This is good enough for me and my clients.

Oke keep on making mistakes I see.

By fixing some mistakes te last time and cleening up the code, I made some errors
Now the selection of "Horizontal & Vertical" , "Horizontal" and "Vertical" totally fall down.

This is now fixed again in this version 1.9g
