Can someone please help me with the setup of the mail2news module?

It installs ok and I can configure the email server/username/password etc but nothing seems to work when I try to send a test email.

I go to click the help button but it says I don't have permission to edit the page (?)

Can anyone please help?

Thanks in advance
Paul

Hello,

so how did you install the modul?
Did you change something on permissions?
Is the news modul also installed and exists there groups?

also before posting her please try to search the forum. Depending on your hoster you need to adapt the modul. (Search for "notls).

i did search the forum and couldn't find anything - hence the reason i'm posting this here!

I installed the module normal fashion through the front end web interface. I did nothing to change the permissions.

yes the news module is installed and the group exists.
